In this workshop learners will explore their personal energy use. Using their energy consumption as a base, learners will explore how many trees are needed to absorb the CO2 they produce and investigate ways to reduce their carbon footprint.

Speak for the Trees Classroom Workshop

Students will use an online calculator to determine their personal energy use and relate it to the CO2 trees can absorb. They will become environmental stewards as they develop a concrete understanding of energy with plans to reduce consumption.
