Fuelling The Future: A Toolkit for Energy Education
This workshop will be delivered as part of the Surrey Teachers Association Convention. It will explore practical strategies, curriculum-linked resources and digital tools for teaching energy efficiency and conservation, including renewable energy.
Energy is involved in almost all aspects of our daily lives, yet it is an abstract concept that’s challenging to engage students on. This workshop will explore and model practical strategies, curriculum-linked resources and digital tools for teaching energy efficiency and renewable energy to students grade 4-12. Engage your learners in hands-on, STEM-based education that empowers them to reduce the energy wasted in their communities and improve their personal carbon footprints.

- Toolkit of resources and lesson plans for engaging students in energy conservation and renewable energy education.
- Creative strategies and digital tools for making energy relevant and meaningful to learners.
