GreenLearning creates free education programs about energy, climate change and green economy that engage and empower students to create positive change for our evolving world.
Our programs include both hands-on and critical thinking activities to equip teachers with the educational tools they need to help students understand complex environmental and social issues.
To build our programs, we combine input from national surveys and consultations with teachers and education professionals to inform our teacher writers. All of our lessons are piloted with teachers and school boards and revised based on their feedback before we make them available.
Our growing community is committed to engaging children and youth in environmental activities that allow them to explore the world around them, while developing skills to positively shape their future.

She has a wealth of experience in the non-profit sector in various management roles in energy and environmental education. Kathy cares deeply about empowering students to make a difference in their schools and communities.
Kristina is a resourceful environmental education specialist with over 15 years of experience. In the past, she has created and implemented modular curriculums for primary, junior and secondary students in Canada.
Jamila manages the brand, content and voice of GreenLearning's digital assets while developing a variety of response-generating marketing communications material. She is multi-faceted with years of communications experience.
Meghan manages the design and development of educational materials at GreenLearning. With a background in biological sciences, love for engaging learners and a knack for finding the fun in any activity, Meghan has experience in teaching within traditional classrooms and informal education environments.
Andreana manages the development of GreenLearning's education programs. She works directly with stakeholders and various team members of the organization to ensure project deliverables are completed and effective communications are established. With a BA in Environmental Studies, she has ample professional experience in stakeholder engagement and program coordination in the environmental non-profit sector.
Hayley manages the planning, development and execution of GreenLearning's digital marketing strategy. In this position, she hopes to excite students and educators about creating positive environmental impact in their communities.
Amber is a committed fundraising professional driven by a passion for making a positive impact. With a rich history of successful fundraising for humanitarian causes, healthcare organizations and higher education, she leverages over two decades of expertise in her role at GreenLearning.
Katie has a background in Conservation and Biodiversity, with experience in the environmental sector, including event coordination, conservation planning, and work with both Canadian and global species. Her passion for the environment, safeguarding species at risk, and promoting a sustainable future motivates her to share her knowledge with others.
Maria lead the Electrifying the Future program in Ontario and supports our engagement and challenges. She has a background in Environmental sustainability and is a dedicated educator committed to fostering inclusive and engaging learning environments.
Elise works to support the Communications Team in creating engaging content and marketing programs that will inspire students and educators. With a passion for sustainability and education, she looks forward to contributing to the mission of empowering learners.
